![]() ![]() ![]() The replacement is the ACT Stage 1 Clutch and Plate, but do I have to get a new flywheel or resurface the new flywheel that worked after only 40 or so miles of travel? So after much deliberation and a hurt wallet I had a friend of mine overnight my a new clutch and plate that definitely fit my vehicle- but for the next few days I will be using the new Flywheel and the OEM Clutch Disc and Pressure Plate. Turns out they sent me the wrong the Clutch Disc, and Pressure Plate- Flywheel fit perfectly however. We dropped the trans and started to install everything, at the end the transmission wouldn't go on no matter how much we wiggled or adjusted things. I bought a new clutch kit with a Disc, Pressure Plate and Flywheel- I work at a dealership so I was able to work with one of the techs to replace everything but because we are so busy- it took a month and a half to get everything installed. So, I have a situation here and wanted to try and get some feedback from a Mechanic community- I hope this post isn't breaking any rules, but here I go.
